The Oklahoma Women’s Resources Website serves primarily as a gateway to projects that have been jointly undertaken by the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women and the Women’s Archives at Oklahoma State University. Links to projects are added as they are released to the public. In addition to providing easy and permanent access to high quality research that is the hallmark of these collaborative projects, the website also exists to promote the outstanding partnership that has been created by the Commission and the Women’s Archives. Leveraging the resources of both organizations, the reach of each has been extended in addressing the needs and celebrating the accomplishments of Oklahoma women.

Chronicling the lives of women involved in the legislative arena, the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project highlights memories and historical documents of women who have served or are currently serving in the Oklahoma Legislature.

The Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women voted to make the Oklahoma Women’s County Status Report a Commission project at their January, 2009 meeting. The goal is to make available a data resource for describing the status of women in Oklahoma’s 77 counties.

Winner of the 2006 Outstanding Achievement Award by the National Association of Commissions for Women, this 564-page book is the first ever almanac to focus exclusively on the women of Oklahoma.
